Alpha Chapter has a rich history that dates back to 1980 when our chapter and organization was founded. Our seven founding mothers walked through Rutgers University promoting Diversity, Womanhood, and most importantly, Independence. Alpha became a home away from home for many women who came and continue to come after those seven wise women.

As undergraduate sisters, we achieve Sisterhood, Academic Scholarship, Service to the community, and Leadership. We are not only leaders within CUS, but we are also leaders in various other organizations on and off-campus. We continuously strive for excellence in all aspects of our lives, and we are proud to claim that we are indeed strong and independent women with bright futures ahead of us.
